No-Fuss Caesar Salad


1 Med. sized Lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup croutons
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup fried, chopped bacon

Dressing: Combine-

1 egg yolk
1/4 cup fried, chopped onion
1 240g. Nestle Sour Cream
2 tbsp. mustard
4 tbsp. mayonaise
2 tbsp. lightly fried garlic


1. Slightly toss lettuce and croutons with small amount of the prepared salad dressing,adding more if necessary to evenly coat prepared lettuce.
2. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bacon before serving.

1. Use Romaine lettuce, the Caesar dressing's "traditional partner" or use the more versatile iceberg, or better yet, a combination of lettuce varieties for a contrast in taste and color
